Hey everyone, I hope everyone is well. I know it’s been a while but it has been pretty busy on my end and I’m about to tell you all about it. We have just finished week 7 of lectures, which means we have 3 weeks left before we leave for East Timor! In the past few weeks we have had the Tasmania DTS stay with us for 2 weeks. While they were here we had Etienne Pieterse the director of YWAM Sydney Island Breeze, teach spiritual warfare, and Bruce Skimmer the director of YWAM Wollongong, teach Biblical Worldview and Mission. While we have DTS’ from other bases we try to give them a bigger taste of South Australia. While Tassie were with us we spent the first weekend camping on the Yorke Peninsula where we explored beautiful beaches and views, spent time fellow-shipping together, and worshiping together. During this weekend I had the opportunity to lead communion focused on a topic God has put on my heart. To take communion from a place of knowing the worthiness Christ has given you.
The second weekend with YWAM Tassie we went to our property in the Adelaide Hills to throw Jim and Bernadette an engagement party. On the drives up and down the hills we spotted lots of Koalas, more then I’ve ever seen my whole life combined.

We also had Jackie and Caitlin come lead an evangelism workshop with the DTS’.

The unfortunate part of being in YWAM and meeting so many great people is saying goodbye.
After 2 weeks with us Tassie took off to spend some time in Melbourne before leaving for outreach in the Philippines followed by Indonesia or Thailand. I am excited to hear their testimonies when we see them again in Tasmania in July for their graduation.

Since their leaving Elizabeth, Jacob and I went with the Elizabeth Church of Christ youth group, where I am a leader, to help with their camp on the Yorke Peninsula. This was an incredible time, I grew so much closer to the youth, and had the opportunity to lead a small group. Good Friday I enjoyed the morning service at Elizabeth Church of Christ. Some of the youth who wouldn't normally come to church came along, including one who I was able to lead to the Lord!
Sunday morning myself and a few of our students and other staff celebrated Jesus' resurrection at the church I call home here, Playford Uniting Church. Sunday evening we all came together, and shared in communion and dinner.

I have also been loving attending Victory church's night service, and getting to know the great community of young adults there.
This week our director shared on Identity and Purpose, our base is very passionate about righteousness and I love hearing Andre share his passions in this area, and seeing the students eyes open as they wrestle with the different teachings.
We have 4 weeks of lectures left, one of which will be in Melbourne mid outreach. I am super pumped as we finish lectures and prepare for outreach! I am so grateful for each of you who have been so supportive. A massive thank you to everyone who has donated! Please continue praying as I still need $1,200, but I know it will come. That being said if you feel led to donate my fundraiser is attached to my Facebook! If you have any questions about what I do or about any of the topics I post about I would love to chat! Have a good few weeks, God bless!
