Hello again friends! I hope this blog finds you well. In my previous post I mentioned that things for the second part of the year were taking shape, well I couldn't wait any longer to tell you so here I am announcing what I know for this year so far! As well as what is happening at the moment.

The base is getting back into it with meetings and ministries starting back up.
Next week we will be facilitating a DTW (Discipleship Training Week) one week of teaching each day on a different topic based on a DTS (Discipleship Training School) week.
Our first DTS of the year starts in 2 weeks today! on the 13th of February, I am very excited to have the new students join our base and do life with them, although I will not be staffing the school. This season I will be focusing on the practical things that keep the base running, specifically helping the kitchen manager. This DTS will be doing their outreach in Papua New Guinea.
In June I will be joining the team in Tasmania (after their time in PNG). Every year in Hobart there is a big festival called the Dark MoFo. We will be joining YWAM Southlands Tasmania on an outreach called Glow Fest, bringing light into the darkness.
"Dark MoFo is a dark arts and music festival held annually in Hobart, Tasmania during the winter solstice. The festival has a very dark, Gothic theme which emphasizes pagan rituals and consists of spooky events held at nighttime. It is quite popular among Tasmanians, and many people even travel to Hobart from across Australia to experience the unique event.
With an inverted cross as it's trademark, the Dark Mofo festival has been quite openly offensive to Christians. Many have experienced the spiritual heaviness that the festival brings over the city (and even over surrounding towns). We won't go too much into detail about it here, but you can find out more by searching "Dark Mofo Hobart" on the web." (Glow Fest.)
Following the festival outreach in Tasmania I will be leaving the team and flying to Tauranga, New Zealand where I will be attending the YWAM Furnace One Thing Internship. "The One Thing Internship is simply this: one month of giving Jesus your full attention. It’s about pursuing Him for a short, intensive season. Building a sustainable life of prayer. Growing in the desire to seek His face, as the hour becomes more urgent. Because nothing is more important.
In Psalm 27:4, King David described the central element of the life of a believer as a preoccupation with “one thing”—the glory and beauty of Jesus." (YWAM Furnace.)
After this internship I will return to Adelaide and continue serving in my commitments here. I am currently praying about details and fundraising methods for these trips, and am grateful for your continuing prayers and support as I organise the logistics of it all. My current estimated need for these trips are approximately $3,000.
I also started an art Instagram account in the hope to use my art to fund raise in the future.
Thank you all for following along on this journey with me, God bless!
