All the Adventures

Hello everybody!! Now I know it has been more then four months since my last written update, and I am sorry. For those who didn't know I have just completed outreach phase with our March DTS, that I have been support staffing. We spent six incredible weeks in Timor Leste. Two of those weeks were in Dili the capital, and the other four were in a very remote village called Bahareduk. During this time we came along side the YWAM team already working there, and partnered with the visions God has given them for Timor.

After Timor's tropical weather we headed straight to a freezing Tasmania winter. Spending two weeks in Tasmania, we spent time ministering to small town communities on the West Coast, and serving a church in Launceston. We also blessed the base in their local ministries, work duties, and joining the community for a DTS graduation, and base meetings.

From Tasmania we headed to Melbourne for a week of outreach and a week of lectures. The outreach week consisted of evangelism in the city, and in a variety of suburbs, as well as partnering with different ministries, churches and youth groups. We really embraced the multiculturalism of Melbourne during this time, as we ministered to different people groups who are all living right on our door step. What an opportunity we have living in Australia, with so many other people groups that need Jesus coming to us. The students then had a week on Lordship with Steve Aherne, and ran a fundraiser on the Thursday evening.

The following Monday we drove to Pinnaroo, a country town in South Australia. We spent the week doing ministry with Malliee Life Church, and had an opportunity to bless the town in different ways. It was another incredible time of building relationships and championing the local believers in their work.

Now we are back in Adelaide, and the students have begun debrief. I can't believe how quickly this school has gone. The first DTS I have ever staffed graduate in nine days! We are also loving getting to know the July DTS which is now on their fifth week of lectures, Father Heart of God. I am very excited to announce, that after the March DTS graduate, I will be joining the July DTS, and will be the leader on their outreach to the Philippines! I am very excited to go back, and serve those I am already connected with, but this time while leading an incredible team.

Please be praying as the March students seek God's word for their next steps. Also as we prepare for the rest of the July DTS, that we would have faith for God's provision, and that He would grow the whole team during this time.
