Being sent out from one of my home churches.

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19

God had laid YWAM on my heart, He had provided my way, now it is my turn to go.

Leaving my family behind in the Brisbane (they flew to Perth for Verge) I boarded my first solo flight, and flew to Adelaide.

Upon arrival in Adelaide, I was taken to the base, where I was the last to arrive. From the moment I first walked into my apartment I have been thrown straight into the midst of the most beautiful American young women. I am not only the youngest, but I am also the only Aussie, except for one pretty awesome staff member, who is also my one on one!

Aussie Sandwich

The DTS started Thursday the 5th of July, and with it O-week. During which we were introduced to our schedule, assignments, and ministries. We also had some testimony times, where I shared more than I had really talked about before and found it really freeing.

"For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."

2 Corinthians 3:17

We spent our Saturday at Gumeracha petting zoo, and the worlds largest rocking horse, where the two Aussies were very enthusiastic about their animal friends.

Saturday night, we got to experience serving at DUOs (Do Unto Others) for the first time. It was an awesome opportunity to serve, and spend time with some of the less fortunate of Adelaide. After having been here for five nights already, I feel so at peace, and like part of a big, mostly American family, and to quote MACCAS! "i'm lovin' it"

On a serious note, I love doing life with this bunch, and I am super excited to see how God uses this season to grow me, and develop and strengthen my roots in Christ.

Thanks for taking the time to read this! Please let me know what you think, and feel free to ask any questions. Be blessed, and have a great week!
